The Field Cloak

The Field Cloak is a working field cloak built for endurance and warmth. Each one is hand cut from 16oz loom woven wool, a dense, heavy layer chosen for structure, longevity, and real world use. This is not costume fabric. It holds heat, resists wear, and shrugs off stray campfire sparks.

Each cloak is expertly hemmed on all edges and finished using lockstitch construction throughout the body and hood. Lockstitching interlocks thread on both sides of the fabric, creating strong, reliable seams that resist unraveling under tension, movement, and extended field use.

The half circle cut leaves the front open for full mobility and immediate access to chest rigs, belts, or other kit. It is designed to layer cleanly over equipment without binding or restricting movement.

The oversized hood pulls low to hide the face or fits cleanly over a tactical helmet. A paracord drawstring runs through the channel for quick adjustment when needed. The adjustable G hook clasp and one inch ranger green webbing secure the front quietly, chosen to close without clatter, shine, or excess hardware.

The heavy wool drape breaks up the human outline and slows heat buildup on thermal optics, adding what we call thermal delay, a brief distortion that buys time and softens the image to the human eye. This cloak is designed to confuse the human observer behind the sensor, not defeat the technology itself.
