Note: Cloaks will not be eligible for the Grommet Upgrade. Any orders with Cloaks will be refunded.

For those who want to push their gear further, we now offer an optional hand-set grommet upgrade. This add-on gives you reinforced grommets at each corner and on the long sides of your poncho, expanding its capabilities in the field:

• Rig as an emergency shelter
• Set up as a concealment screen
• Anchor securely in high wind or rough terrain

Each grommet is carefully installed by hand in our workshop, with reinforced stitching for durability. No mass-production shortcuts, just solid craftsmanship where it counts.

Why is it optional? Because we believe in giving you the choice. Not everyone needs grommets, and we’re not interested in baking extra cost into every poncho for a feature you might not want. When you need it, it’s here. When you don’t, you’re not paying for it.

If you are purchasing this for a Poncho already on order, please contact us at info@fivestaralterations.com with the order number so we can add grommets to your Poncho after you purchase this upgrade.

If you'd like to add grommets to a Poncho you have previously purchased from us, get in touch with us at info@fivestaralterations.com before check-out so we have the opportunity to set up shipping and lead times. If you purchase this upgrade before contacting us, we will be forced to refund and cancel your order because shipping was not discussed. Due to variations in color with different batches of material, the reinforcement panels may differ slightly in coloration.
